What we collect

• Identity and contact details you provide in enquiry or newsletter forms (name, email, message content).
• Consultation preferences such as selected service and preferred meeting window.
• Documents and financial information you later supply under an engagement letter for advice work.

Purposes and lawful bases

We process enquiry data to respond to your request (legitimate interests and, where you contract with us, performance of a contract). Advice files are processed to deliver regulated or professional consulting services and to meet record-keeping duties. Newsletter emails are sent only where you subscribe (consent), which you may withdraw at any time. Analytics cookies run only if you accept optional cookies.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become clients are normally kept for up to twenty-four months. Advice files are retained for periods required by applicable UK financial services and limitation rules — typically at least five years after the end of an engagement, and longer where regulations require. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Sharing

We use service providers for email hosting, secure file storage, and (if accepted) analytics. We do not sell personal data. We may share information with professional counterparts you authorise, or where required by law or a regulator.

International transfers

If a provider stores data outside the United Kingdom, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, as applicable.

Your rights

Depending on your circumstances under UK GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability.
