Refunds & cancellations
This policy applies to fee-based consultations offered by Stonegate Financial Review, including the Personal Financial Review and related pension, protection, and pre-retirement planning engagements. It does not cover products we do not sell on this site, such as online courses or physical goods.
Refund eligibility
Fees paid for advice work may be refunded in full or in part depending on how far the engagement has progressed, whether a discovery meeting has occurred, and whether written work has begun. Informational website content is free and not refundable.
Timeframe to request a refund
Please request a refund or cancellation in writing to hello@intel-report.digital within fourteen days of payment for unused engagements, or as soon as practicable if you need to cancel after work has started. We respond to refund requests within five working days.
Full refunds
A full refund of any deposit or prepaid fee is available if you cancel before we send a document checklist and before a discovery meeting is held, provided you notify us at least forty-eight hours before a booked session.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after documents have been reviewed but before the discovery meeting, we may retain up to thirty percent of the agreed fee to cover preparation time and refund the balance. If the discovery meeting has taken place but the written summary has not yet been delivered, we may retain up to sixty percent of the fee, reflecting meeting time and analysis already performed.
Non-refundable items
- Fees for work already completed and delivered, including issued written summaries and action lists.
- Third-party charges you authorised separately (for example, scheme tracing fees paid to another organisation).
- Time booked for a follow-up call that you attended.
Deposits
Where a deposit reserves a review slot, it is applied toward the final fee. Unused deposits follow the full and partial refund rules above. Deposits are not transferable to another household without our agreement.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a discovery meeting once at no charge if you give at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of £40 to cover diary disruption. We may reschedule for adviser illness or urgent compliance reasons; in that case no fee applies and we offer a new date promptly.
No-shows
If you miss a booked meeting without notice, we may treat the session fee as earned for that portion of the engagement and require a new booking fee before rearranging.
Work already started
Once analysis of your documents has begun, refunds are limited to the unused portion of the fee as described under partial refunds. We will itemise retained amounts when confirming the outcome.
Refund process and method
Approved refunds are returned by the same bank transfer method used for payment, typically within ten working days of approval. We do not process card checkout on this website; refunds follow the invoice payment channel.
Processing time
Assessment of a refund request normally completes within five working days; bank processing may add several further days depending on your provider.
Contact for refund requests
Email hello@intel-report.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason for the request. You may also write to 835 Joe Flat, St. Conn, Scotland, United Kingdom or call +44-6-477-6935.
Exceptions
Statutory cooling-off rights that apply to distance contracts for consumers remain available where the law requires, and nothing in this policy limits those rights. If a statutory right conflicts with a clause above, the statutory right prevails.
